• Entertainment Law: Our firm handles all aspects of entertainment law, specializing in music industry issues such as contracts, copyright, trademark, and promotional issues. We have extensive experience in creating and negotiating all types of contracts ranging from events, promotions, sponsorship deals to the more complex contracts involving record labels, royalties, and management issues. We have also handled litigation matters involving contract disputes as well as intellectual property matters.
• Environmental Litigation: We represent clients in federal and state courts in actions involving indoor air quality, such as mold, construction defects, personal injuries and "sick buildings", and toxic tort cases, wherein the focus is upon the health and property effects of chemical substances. Our office has also defended manufacturers and other parties in personal injury suits associated with toxic torts involving exposure to various chemical substances, including benzene.
• Insurance Coverage: Our attorneys work with insurance companies, corporations and self-insured entities to resolve complex coverage issues arising from claims made on both first- and third-party insurance policies. We have extensive experience in drafting reservation of rights letters and dealing with the ethical and practical implications of the status of the relationship between the insurer, the insured, and defense counsel.
