Victoria R. Benson Since her admission to the bar, Victoria has been involved in a wide variety of litigation matters, including toxic tort defense, construction, product liability, employment law, premises liability, municipal law, civil rights defense, and insurance coverage in Illinois State Courts, including Cook, DuPage, Lake and Will Counties, and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois. Victoria has also handled appeals to the First District of the Illinois Appellate Court and the Illinois Supreme Court. Her recent appeal on the issue of indemnification has helped to create precedent with the Illinois Supreme Court. She has also been a speaker at the ISBA Civil Practice Seminars discussing pretrial procedure as it relates to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 213.
Victoria received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from Loyola University Chicago, graduating cum laude. She received her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Victoria is also a member of the Federal Trial Bar. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
